Marriage Matters- With quarterly offerings, Marriage Matters is a small group for couples that focuses on God's design for marriage. The format is typically video teachings by various pastors, followed by group discussion. Marriage Matters offers a chance to focus on strengthening your relationship with your spouse, while building new friendships with other couples who also value marriage. For information about this ministry contact Tim and Julia Fox or Stan & Kara Schug.
True North Financial Management- True North is a local financial Christian ministry who's goal is to help people to understand and apply biblical principals to their personal finances (Ownership, Stewardship, Generosity), to teach people to set up a budget with these principals, and to be available to help them on every step of the way. Our ultimate goal is to teach people to manage the resources God has blessed them with in order to be financially free to serve wherever God has called them. There are three options for those interested; a one day class, an in-depth six week class (two hours, one night a week for six weeks), and one-on-one counseling. The courses are free! Contact Von and Elisa Truillinger for more information.
Food Pantry-The Food Pantry at Mountain Christian Church is not only a place where people come for food in times of need, but a place to build relationships and feed the soul. MCC Food Pantry is unique in its model by which it stands: to not only fill the physical needs of an individual for food, but to reach a deeper need to fill the spiritual needs and restore dignity to any that reach our doors. We will have a Food Pantry representative available at the Church the first and third Friday of the month from 12pm-3pm. Contact Barbara Fall for more information.
Foundations- This class is designed to help you learn and more fully understand the essential doctrines of our faith. It is a chance to meet the elders and answer potential questions you may have about MCC. This class is our way of bringing you on board and up to speed with who we are as a church and how you might fit in. This class is suited to everyone from long-time believers to Christians just beginning their walk with Christ. Contact Sarah in the main office to sign up for the next Foundations class.
Meals Ministry-As a ministry within the Church body, we recognize that sometimes it is hard for a person to prepare a meal. Whether someone's walking through a hardship like illness or surgery, or a joy like a new-born baby, this is a great ministry! Whether gourmet or just good ol'e home cookin’, you will be able to bless someone with your culinary talents and build eternal relationships in the process! For more information on how you can bless another family within MCC or if you need assistance yourself, e-mail Christine Tidmore.
